Haugesund kommune har tre helsestasjoner. Boligadressen din avgjør hvilken helsestasjon du tilhører.

Helsestasjonens mål er å fremme barns fysiske, psykiske og sosiale helse. Det lovpålagte innholdet i tjenesten er definert i Veileder for helsestasjons -og skolehelsetjenesten.

Helsestasjonen gir råd og veiledning i spørsmål som knytter seg til barnets utvikling og trivsel. På helsestasjonen arbeider helsesykepleier, jordmor, lege, psykolog og fysioterapeut.

Arbeidet innebærer hjemmebesøk, helseopplysning, veiledning, helseundersøkelser og vaksinasjoner, samt oppfølging og henvisning videre av barn og familier med spesielle behov.

Når helsestasjonen har fått melding om fødsel fra sykehuset, tar vi kontakt. Dersom du ikke hører noe fra oss innen en uke etter hjemreise, vennligst kontakt oss.  

Helsestasjon for ammeveiledning har åpent mandag, onsdag og fredag fra kl. 12.00 - 13.30.  Kontakt din helsesykepleier eller jordmor for avtale.

MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH CENTRE 0- 5 YEARS

Haugesund municipality has three Child Health Centres. Your place of residence determines which one you belong to. When a Child Health Centre receives notice of a delivery from the hospital, we’ll contact you. Should you not hear from us within a week after you’ve left the hospital, please contact us. At the Child Health Centre, you will find a public health nurse, midwife, doctor and a physical therapist.

The Child Health Centres offer home visits and individual consultations, “Open Health Centre”, maternity groups with a midwife and public health nurse as well as a group for four-month olds with a physical therapist. The Child Health Centre may refer you to PMTO as needed. PMTO is an abbreviation for “Parental Management Training – Oregon”. This is a service for families with children aged 3 – 12 experiencing negative day-to-day interactions. Haugesund municipality has established the “Stafettlogg” (Relay Log), built upon closely involving the parents as soon as any causes for concern are uncovered. A Relay Log is established, with the consent of the parents, in which all measures are described, and responsibilities are shared and evaluated. Read more at “Stafettloggen”.

BLEIKEMYR CHILD HEALTH CENTRE

Welcome to Bleikemyr Child Health Centre! The Child Health Centre is situated in the Northern part of the town, in the same building as Bleikemyr Medical Centre and the Vaccination Clinic. Here you’ll find a public health nurse and a physician.

The Child Health Centre’s goal is to promote children’s physical, psychological and social health. The contents of the service, as defined by law, is defined in the Guidelines for Child Health Centres and School Health Services. The Child Health Centre provides guidance regarding children’s development and well-being.

The practices involve home visitation, health education, guidance, medical examinations, vaccinations, as well as follow-up and further referral of children and families with special needs. We have “Open Child Health Centre/Drop-in” Thursdays from 13.00 to 14.30. You may drop in without an appointment, should you wish to weigh your child, of if you have any questions.

ROSSABØ CHILD HEALTH CENTRE

Welcome to Rossabø Child Health Centre! The Child Health Centre is situated in the Southern part of the town, in the same building as Legesenter Sør and the Coop grocery store, by the roundabout at Spannavegen. There are several opportunities for parking. Here you’ll find a public health nurse and a physician.

The Child Health Centre’s goal is to promote children’s physical, psychological and social health. The contents of the service, as defined by law, is defined in the Guidelines for Child Health Centres and School Health Services. The Child Health Centre provides guidance regarding children’s development and well-being.

The practices involve home visitation, health education, guidance, medical examinations, vaccinations, as well as follow-up and further referral of children and families with special needs. We have “Open Child Health Centre/Drop-in” Wednesdays from 13.00 to 14.30. You may drop in without an appointment, should you wish to weigh your child, or if you have any questions.

SENTRUM (CITY CENTRE) CHILD HEALTH CENTRE

Welcome to the Sentrum (City Centre) Child Health Centre! This Child Health Centre is situated in the heart of the city, close to the Service Centre and the City Hall. Here you’ll find a public health nurse and a physician. The Child Health Centre’s goal is to promote children’s physical, psychological and social health. The contents of the service, as defined by law, is defined in the Guidelines for Child Health Centres and School Health Services.

The Child Health Centre provides guidance regarding children’s development and well-being. The practices involve home visitation, health education, guidance, medical examinations and vaccinations, as well as follow-up and further referral of children and families with special needs. We have “Open Child Health Centre/Drop-in” Tuesdays from 13.00 to 14.30. You may drop in without an appointment, should you wish to weigh your child, or if you have any questions.
